I am a PhD candidate in the Harvard University joint PhD program in Business Economics.

I am a graduate student affiliate of the Harvard Institute for Quantitative Social Science, the Harvard EconCS Group, and the John M. Olin Center for Law, Economics, and Business. My work is currently supported by a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship, a Terence M. Considine Fellowship, and a Yahoo! Key Scientific Challenges Program Fellowship.

In Spring 2009, I graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa in mathematics from Harvard University, with a minor in ethnomusicology (and with the approximate equivalent of a minor in economics). I then completed my Masters of Arts in Business Economics in Spring 2010.

While an undergraduate, I lived in Kirkland House, where I now serve as a non-resident tutor.

I thoroughly enjoy research in {economics, mathematics, musicology}, as well as teaching, problem-solving, puzzling, skiing, rock climbing, hiking, letterboxing, haiku, and math rap.

I am an active alumnus of both The Research Science Institute (RSI) and The Harvard College Program for Research in Science and Engineering (PRISE). I am also a student member of the Mathematical Association of America, the American Economic Association, and the Econometric Society.

My Erdös number is 3.
